A & B are two trains, travell from X & Y stations to Y & X stations after crossing each other A takes 4 hrs.48 mins. To reach Y
station. B takes 3hrs.20 mins. to reach X station. The speed A is 45kmph. Speed of B is ? -
@dufus
profit in 1st = 924*15 /100
loss in 2nd = -924*15/100so net gain = 0
-
distance travelled by A=distance travelle by B
now, speed*time=distance..so,(24/5*45)=(10/3*x) where x is the speed of train B
thus find X..note: here 24/5 hours is 4 hours and 48 mins...
here 10/3 hours is 3 hours and 20 mins.. -
Whenever two items having same price are sold, one at x% profit and other at x%loss then there is always loss and net loss is given by
net loss = x*x/100 = 15*15/100=2.25
